Talking Fairleigh – Mental health campaigner for the bush Alison Fairleigh blogs for “Better Access” (also the name of the campaign) to mental health services in rural Australia. A topic very close to my heart as I have lived in rural Australia all my life and from a farming family. Alison is a tireless campaigner, survivor/sufferer herself, and puts forward very intelligent articles.
Ordinary Courage by Brenè Brown I first heard of Brenè Brown via her inspiring TED talk The Power of Vulnerability.
John Alchin – John is a former youth worker with more than a decade’s experience in residential care and rehabilitation settings. An active advocate for mental health consumers and carers, and a highly regarded blog to boot!
Paulo Coelho – One of my absolute favorite authors of all time. Wrote my favorite book, the NY Times bestseller ‘The Alchemist’.
zenhabits – Leo Babauta is a recent discovery which has rung a lot of bells with me. A Top 25 blog and rightly so.
Positively Positive – A hugely popular positive thinking blog with many contributors. A blog I very much look up to.
The Pursuit of Happiness – An anonymous man’s journey through self help techniques and herbal remedies for depression. Highly regarded blog by the industry.
A Storm In A Teacup – this blog is a raw and no holds barred (except names) account of a 20-something nurse early in her career battling depression, boys, studies, life, and everything in between. One of my favorites.
A good one I just found; like really good one!
